We can also meet Teddy, the only other significant boyfriend Mitchell had before meeting Cameron. We can see how they met and see how and why they broke up.

Not to mention in the pilot episode, Jay said that Mitchell was better off without cam due to cam being quite the drama queen.

I really liked Ty Burrell as Phil Dunphy in Modern Family. I’d like to see him in a dramatic role of Richard Nixon.

How could teddy make Mitchell into a bad person? Number four I think Mitchell and Teddy together would’ve been much better parents for Lily.
Who do think would’ve been a better boyfriend and later husband to Mitchell? 1st boyfriend Teddy or 2nd. Cam? Personally, I think probably Teddy.
For a few reasons, 1. Mitchell and Teddy are more alike personality wise. 2. the whole family likes Teddy. 3. Cam is too much of a stereotype.
