Ariel Winter (born January 28, 1998) is an American actress who plays Alex Dunphy on Modern Family.
Biography
Since 2009, Winter has portrayed brainy middle daughter Alex Dunphy on Modern Family. Winter voices Gretchen in the cartoon Phineas and Ferb. She had a recurring role in the TV series ER as Lucy Moore, the daughter of Hedy Burress's character, Joanie. Winter is also known for voicing the title character for the Disney Junior show Sofia the First.
She has recently been removed from her mother's custody due to allegations of Workman both physically and emotionally abusing her. She now resides with her older sister Shanelle Workman, Shanelle's husband David Gray, and their two daughters Skylar and Parker, her nieces.
Relationships
Ariel had dated actor Cameron Palatas from the Disney show A.N.T. Farm for four months in 2012. She's currently dating Laurent Claude Gaudette.
