Lawson has since played small roles on several American television series, including The Deep End, Covert Affairs, and Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23. In 2011, he starred opposite Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher on the film No Strings Attached.
In "Won't You Be Our Neighbor", he, along with Fionia Gubelmann, played George and Lisa, a very nice and friendly couple whom Phil tries to convince to move in next door to their house to have them as neighbors.
