Meanwhile, Mitchell and his partner, Cameron Tucker, have just made a major life change by adopting a Vietnamese baby named Lily.
02	02		The Bicycle Thief	Phil goes behind Claire's back and gets a bike for Luke, then really ends up lying about it when the bike gets stolen. Jay has problems trying to bond with Manny, but takes advantage of Manny's father not showing up in an effort to make peace with him, even though Gloria believes there's real peace in the household. Mitchell and Cameron begin daycare classes with Lily.
03	03		Come Fly with Me	Jay tries to spend some time alone with his new model airplane, but Phil ruins it. While Manny takes time out to play with Luke, Gloria accompanies Alex in shopping for a dress, and Manny ends up having a heart-to-heart talk with Claire. Meanwhile, Mitchell and Cameron go shopping at Costco, but Mitchell feels that he is too good to shop there.
04	04		The Incident	Jay's ex-wife, DeDe, shows up for the first time following a nasty incident at Gloria and Jay's wedding. Phil and Claire try to judge whether it's acceptable for Haley's boyfriend, Dylan, to take her to a concert or not.
05	05		Coal Digger	The whole family is invited to Jay and Gloria's for some barbecue and football. However, an earlier incident at school between Manny and Luke makes things very awkward for Gloria and Claire, and then things escalate when a not-so-flattering label is uttered.
06	06		Run for Your Wife	Claire and Phil have mixed feelings regarding the first day of school for the kids. Jay and Gloria argue about an outfit for Manny, and a minor problem with Lily gets blown out of proportion by Mitchell and Cameron.
07	07		En Garde	The whole family comes out to support Manny's new found interest: fencing. It turns out he's quite masterful in the sport, but Jay's proud enthusiasm triggers an old childhood wound for Mitchell. Meanwhile, Phil is determined to find where Luke's hidden talents lie.
08	08		Great Expectations	Jay has a sleepover for his grand kids, but Haley is looking for a way out. Claire tries to get a perfect anniversary gift for Phil, and Mitchell and Cameron discover that their lady friend is crazy and jealous of their daughter.
09	09		Fizbo	Cameron breaks out his favorite clown costume to make Luke's birthday party a hit. However, a series of accidents causes the party to break into chaos and leads to an unfortunate injury.
10	10		Undeck the Halls	Phil and Claire cancel Christmas for their kids until they confess to wrongdoings at the house. Jay is hesitant to celebrate Gloria and Manny's holiday traditions. Mitchell and Cameron take Lily to meet Santa, and end up making a new friend.
11	11		Up All Night	Manny's dad shows up bearing extravagant gifts, Mitchell and Cameron fight over how to care for their daughter when she cries at night, and Claire tries to impress the firefighters who responded to Phil's kidney stone 911 call.
12	12		Not in My House	When Claire finds a dirty picture on the computer and assumes it's Luke's doing, a guilty Phil doesn't necessarily correct her. Gloria disagrees over Jay's beloved life-sized dog butler statue, and Cameron gets sucked into their gardener's woes, much to Mitchell's chagrin.
13	13		Fifteen Percent	Mitchell tells Jay that one of his friends is gay to teach him a lesson, Claire gets frustrated with Phil's new master remote control, and Gloria gives Manny's "date" a makeover to improve her self-esteem.
14	14		Moon Landing	Claire feels like a loser when she catches up with an old friend from work, Jay and Cameron have an unpleasant "encounter" in a locker room, and Mitchell tries to give legal advice to Gloria after she has a wreck.
15	15		My Funky Valentine	Phil and Claire break from their traditional Valentine's Day dinner date and plan a little "role play" excursion. Meanwhile, Jay and Gloria's ideas of romance clash when he takes her to see David Brenner, and Mitchell and Cameron play cupid for Manny.
16	16		Fears	Phil ends up losing Luke's toy causing him and Luke to have to go into the crawlspace under the house, Hayley takes her drivers test, Manny tries to get over his fear of roller coasters and Lily says "Mommy" which upsets Cameron and Mitchell.
17	17		Truth Be Told	Jay accidentally kills Manny's pet turtle and lies about it, Claire becomes jealous when Phil's ex-girlfriend pays a visit, and Mitchell makes a bold decision after he misses a family day because he's called in to work.
18	18		Starry Night	Mitchell and Jay attempt to bond while watching a meteor shower, but things don't go according to plan. Cameron tries to make amends with Gloria for past awkward encounters with a night out in her old neighborhood. Claire and Phil try to help their kids with their school projects.
19	19		Game Changer	Jay takes on Gloria and Manny in the ultimate chess game. Claire goes all out to find a cool new electronic gadget for Phil's birthday gift, and Cameron pokes his nose into a neighbor's affairs.
20	20		Benched	Phil and Jay vie for the same coaching position on Manny and Luke's basketball team. Mitchell helps Cameron with a job interview, and Gloria and Claire talk about their kids growing up.
21	21		Travels with Scout	Claire suspects there's more than meets the eye to a surprise visit by Phil's father (Fred Willard) in a motor home. Cameron offers to fill the drumming vacancy in Dylan's band. Manny is in shock after seeing a horror movie with Jay.
22	22		Airport 2010	Gloria surprises Jay with a trip to Hawaii for his birthday, but he isn't pleased to find out that the entire family is tagging along. When everyone arrives at the airport, chaos ensues with forgotten identification, breeches of security, and flying phobias.
23	23		Hawaii	Jay's plans to do nothing but relax on vacation are interrupted by an unwelcome reality check. Meanwhile, Phil tries to make the trip romantic for Claire, Mitchell and Cameron disagree on whether they should go sight-seeing, and the kids get themselves into trouble.
24	24		Family Portrait	Claire makes an effort to take a new family portrait, but everybody is too busy to cooperate: Gloria and Manny go with Phil and Alex to a Lakers game and share an awkward moment on the jumbo-tron, Cameron gets a job as a wedding singer while Mitchell takes care of Lilly and a stray pigeon, and Luke interviews Jay for a school project.

Meanwhile Claire finds herself becoming the overbearing mom when she finds out Alex likes a boy, and Haley's idea of sisterly advice is not helping matters; and Mitchell and Cameron have a tiff over Mitchell's freakish aversion to PDA.
03	27		Earthquake	An earthquake hits, leaving Claire stuck in the bathroom with the plumber, Manny experiencing an existential crisis while out with Jay, and Mitchell and Cameron digging themselves deeper into a lie when they use the quake to get out of a themed brunch party thrown by their friend, Pepper.
04	28		Strangers on a Treadmill	Claire and Mitchell enlist each other's help in trying to spare their significant others from embarrassment - Cameron from his unfortunate wardrobe choices, and Phil from his joke-ridden speech for the realtors' banquet. Meanwhile Jay tries to prove a point to Gloria by attending a Quinceañera thrown by one of his employees, and Haley gives Alex sisterly advice on how to be cool.
05	29		Unplugged	Noticing that everyone is too busy on their electronic devices to actually interact with one another, Claire and Phil declare a family challenge to see who can stay unplugged the longest. Meanwhile, it's a race against the clock as Mitchell and Cameron frantically try to get Lily into the best preschools, and Jay and Manny are concerned about how far Gloria will go to alleviate their problem with the neighbor's barking dog.
06	30		Halloween	Claire loves Halloween and is gearing up to spookify the Dunphy house for the trick or treaters. She gives each family member a role to play, but none of it goes quite right... Cameron can't shake a traumatic childhood experience and hates the holiday, Mitchell has had a terrible day at work, and Gloria is acting weird after Jay and Manny teased her about her accent.
07	31		Chirp	Claire and Haley have a bit of quality girl time while they're stuck at home sick, and Phil is preoccupied by the taunts of a chirping smoke detector. Gloria and Manny's surprise visit at Jay's work leads to headaches for Jay, and Cameron gets swept up by all the lights and cameras when he goes behind Mitchell's back and takes Lily for a commercial.
08	32		Manny Get Your Gun	Everyone is gathering at a restaurant to celebrate Manny’s birthday, though Manny himself is experiencing a mini-life crisis about getting older. Meanwhile, on the way to the restaurant, Phil and Claire decide to engage in a not-so-friendly car race there, and Mitchell and Cameron get sidetracked when they stop at the mall to pick up a gift.
09	33		Mother Tucker	Cameron loves his mom, so Mitchell isn't quite sure how to tell Cam that she makes him a little uncomfortable. Meanwhile, when Haley finally breaks up with Dylan, Phil takes it harder than anyone else, and Jay's little stomach ache gets exacerbated when he and Manny start looking things up on a medical website.
10	34		Dance Dance Revelation	At Luke and Manny's first school dance, Jay and Phil take them to the mall which turns disastrous, Claire happiness turns into jealousy when Gloria joins the school dance committee. Meanwhile, Cameron and Mitchell learn about Lily biting other kids at the playground.
11	35		Slow Down Your Neighbors	Claire becomes a determined neighborhood vigilante hoping to catch and stop a menacing car that speeds though their streets. Meanwhile, Phil is busy trying to land an important listing with a difficult client, Jay teaches Manny how to ride a bike -- only to learn Gloria needs lessons too -- and Mitchell and Cameron stumble upon a mysterious neighbor who is quite the charmer.
12	36		Our Children, Ourselves	Claire and Phil want Alex to relax a little about her studies, but then they start questioning their own intellectual drives. Meanwhile, Gloria tries to befriend another nice couple, much to Jay's chagrin, and Mitch and Cam run into and old female flame of Mitchell's, only to make a disturbing discovery.
13	37		Caught in the Act	It's Phil and Claire's anniversary, and when the kids go to surprise them with breakfast in bed, they get a surprise of their own. Jay and Gloria's plans for a Vegas vacation are ruined because of a brutally honest email accidentally sent to Claire, and Mitchell and Cameron try to get into a new restaurant owned by a mom at Lily's preschool.
14	38		Bixby's Back	Claire and Phil decide to reprise their role-playing adventure from last year's Valentine's Day. Meanwhile, Jay's surprise plans for Gloria keeps getting interrupted, and a secret admirer comes between Cameron and Mitchell.
15	39		Princess Party	It's Lily's birthday and Mitchell decides to invite his mom, much to Claire's dismay, and dis-invite Fizbo, much to Cameron's dismay. Things get even more out of hand when Dede shows up with Claire's old high school boyfriend, and Jay and Gloria each turn to their own unique methods of dealing with this gathering of misfits.
16	40		Regrets Only	Phil and Claire have a huge fight and Phil hasn't a clue as to what it was over, so Gloria steps in to counsel Phil while Jay counsels Claire. Meanwhile, Jay has some regret in buying Gloria a karaoke machine, and Cameron is in full prep mode for a huge fundraising event and asks Mitchell and Luke for help.
17	41		Two Monkeys and a Panda	While Claire runs herself ragged trying to play peacemaker with Haley and Alex, Phil sneaks off for a nice relaxing day at the spa. Meanwhile, Gloria is horrified by Jay's morbid plans to purchase two primo side-by-side crypts in preparation of the inevitable future, and Cameron decides he wants to write a book that celebrates the fact that Lily is adopted—however, during the process he unearths artifacts that are quite disturbing.
18	42		Boys' Night	Phil and Claire have some trepidation when they find out that Luke has befriended their crotchety old neighbor, Walt Kleezak; Jay's attempt to avoid sitting through a symphony concert with Gloria and Manny lands him in the middle of Mitchell and Cameron's "boys' night out"; and Haley has her own adventures in babysitting with Lily.
19	43		The Musical Man	Cameron is relishing his role as interim music director at Luke and Manny's school, and he's taking on the upcoming spring musical performance with a little too much zest and fervor. Meanwhile, Jay's brother, Donnie, is in town for a visit, and their relentless brotherly ribbing goes a little too far; and Phil convinces the family to be in his new realty ad, but when he goes as far as to wrap the family minivan in the ad, the results are unexpected.
20	44		Someone to Watch Over Lily	Mitchell and Cameron try to determine Lily's guardian in case something happens to them, Claire is scared that Luke will turn out like Phil, and Haley bonds with Alex after she is forced to take Alex to cello practice.
21	45		Mother's Day	Gloria and Claire take the kids on a hike for Mother's Day where Gloria upsets Manny. Phil and Jay spend the day cooking. Meanwhile, Cam is upset that everyone (and Mitchell) sees him as the 'wife' and their partnership.
22	46		Good Cop Bad Dog	Jay advises a dog trainer, while Phil and Claire switch parenting duties to the kids' chagrin. Mitchell has an extra Lady Gaga concert ticket when Cameron ends up getting sick.
23	47		See You Next Fall	Alex is graduating middle school and is the Valedictorian of the class. Phil knows that Claire bottles up her emotions on adolescence until next day after the event is over, but he doesn't have the time to hear her complain the next day. He tries to hint to her that she can let her feelings out now, but she doesn't catch on.
24	48		The One That Got Away	Jay desires to have a quiet birthday while fishing on the lake, but the family misinterpret him as wanting a big celebration, and in their frantic scramble to put everything together. Claire and Mitchell wind up trapped in the yard of their childhood home. Phil runs into his old college nemesis while at the mall with Gloria and Lily; Cameron gets himself into trouble at the bakery, and the kids do some creative editing on grandpa's birthday video, all of which leaves Jay with a headache.

Season 3: 2011 - 2012

Phil and Luke try to learn how to tightrope, while Claire teaches Haley and Alex a valuable life lesson. Meanwhile, Cameron goes on a juice fast, much to the dismay of Mitchell and Lily.
04	52		Door to Door	Everyone sets their eyes on a goal: Jay is determined to help Manny sell wrapping paper for a school fundraiser; Claire petitions the city for a stop sign to be installed at a high-traffic intersection; Mitchell is hell bent on proving a point with Cameron, and neither one of them will back down; Phil and Luke will stop at nothing to create a viral video sensation; and Gloria is desperate to find Stella after losing her.
05	53		Hit and Run	Jay is frustrated at work, Manny is stressed out about school work, Gloria would like to help but no one seems to want it. Phil and Claire run into Councilman Duane Bailey again, who is out campaigning for his second run, and he's just as irritating as they remembered -- so much so that Claire may give him a run for his money. Mitch and Cam get into a fender bender and the other car flees, which becomes the tipping point for all the men in the family who decides to take out their frustrations on the kid giving Haley problem.
06	54		Go Bullfrogs!	Phil takes Haley on a college tour of his old Alma mater, and Claire, having a rare night alone, forces Mitchell and Cameron to take her for a fun night out with the boys -- but ends up alone with one particular man candy who is anything but gay. Meanwhile, Gloria and Jay deal with a potential situation at home that may require having "the talk" with Manny.
07	55		Treehouse	Gloria wants Jay to go out for a night of salsa dancing after seeing how much his friend Shorty and his girlfriend do together. Meanwhile, Cameron makes a bet that he can get a woman's phone number at the bar; and Phil builds a tree house for Luke.
08	56		After the Fire	The family collects goods for a family whose house burned down. Jay makes an embarrassing remark to Phil during a massage. Claire is jealous of Mitchell's relationship with Gloria. Meanwhile, Cam, Haley and Alex struggles with a moving van in a parking lot.
09	57		Punkin Chunkin	Phil is upset that Claire is stifling his creativity. Mitchell doesn't believe Cam's "punkin chunkin" story. Gloria won't let Jay tell Manny that his Thanksgiving centerpiece is horrible. Haley and Alex dent Claire's car and will stop at nothing to hide it from her.
10	58		Express Christmas	With everyone departing for different destinations over Christmas, the Dunphy-Pritchetts plan an "Express Christmas" to be set up in less than 24 hours, and things get a little out of hand. Phil and Manny purchase the turkey, Claire and Haley shop for gifts, Gloria and Luke retrieve the angel from the attic, Mitch, Lily and Alex are assigned to tree duty, while Jay and Cam wrap the gifts already bought.
11	59		Lifetime Supply	After having a doctor's visit but then missing the call with the test results, Phil automatically jumps to conclusions and starts saying his goodbyes. Meanwhile, Javier pops up unannounced again and takes Manny to the horse races for a belated birthday celebration, and a subtle competition ensues when Mitchell brings home an environmental law award and it becomes a game of who has the bigger trophy.
12	60		Egg Drop	While Jay and Claire become hyper-competitive while working on their boys' science project, Gloria tries to help Phil with his real estate seminar. Meanwhile, Cam and Mitchell interview a potential birth mother.
13	61		Little Bo Bleep	The family helps Claire prepare for her upcoming televised debate with Duane Bailey for the town council seat, but will they do more harm than good? Lily is going to be a precious flower girl for the first time, but the problem is she’s just discovered her first expletive and Mitchell and Cam don’t know how best to deal with this new parenting test. And Jay is very concerned with Stella’s recent strange behavior and puts the blame on Gloria.
14	62		Me? Jealous?	Phil is so preoccupied with impressing his new business partner, Tad, that he doesn't notice what Claire believes is Tad being overtly inappropriate with her. Meanwhile, Jay and Gloria let Mitchell and Cameron stay over while their house is fumigated, and it turns out four is a crowd.
15	63		Aunt Mommy	Claire makes a drunken decision to donate her egg for Mitchell and Cam's next child, while Manny gets hurt after Jay gets him into a football game.
16	64		Virgin Territory	Jay finds out Mitchell ruined his greatest golf moment. While on the way to fix Lily's doll, Alex spills a surprising secret about Haley to Phil, leaving him heartbroken, while Gloria discovers a secret of Claire's. Cam's desperate to get everyone out of the house so he can investigate an issue and prove Claire wrong, and Luke helps Manny to impress a girl he likes.
17	65		Leap Day	Mitchell feels pressured to make Cameron's birthday extra special; people start to question Jay's manliness; the girls interfere with Phil's leap day plans.
18	66		Send Out the Clowns	Cam reunites an old clown act despite Mitchell's warnings. Phil plays hardball with a rival to get a listing. Manny's new "friend" has a crush on Gloria, and Claire wants her daughters to friend her on Facebook.
19	67		Election Day	The all important election day has arrived and the whole family rallies for some last minute campaigning - Mitchell and Cam ride around in a 'Vote for Claire' mobile, the Dunphy house is campaign central with everyone manning phones and soliciting votes, and Claire does some last minute interviews -- with a few technical difficulties.
20	68		The Last Walt	Claire delicately helps Luke cope with the fact that his friend and their old neighbor, Walt, has passed. Phil takes Alex for some father-daughter bonding time, and Haley throws an unauthorized party. Meanwhile, Jay and Gloria go over to Mitch and Cam's to have dinner with Cam's father, Merle, who is in town visiting -- and awkwardness and tension seem to be the rule of the night.
21	69		Planes, Trains and Cars	The Dunphys are in the market for a new car and Phil makes a spontaneous purchase without Claire. Will he have buyer's remorse? Meanwhile, Jay is determined to get to his high school reunion with Gloria and Manny in tow, and Lily loses her favorite stuffed animal on a public metro train, leaving Mitch and Cam with an inconsolable toddler.
22	70		Disneyland	Nothing is more quintessential to good ol' family fun than a trip to Disneyland -- but not without a side of motion sickness, achy feet and a wayward toddler -- when the Pritchett/Dunphy/Tucker clan hits the park! Phil tries to keep up with Luke, Claire's shocked when they run into Dylan, Jay and Gloria disagree about what are sensible shoes for the day, and Mitch and Cam must contain Lily's new affinity for running.
23	71		Tableau Vivant	Gloria and Jay bicker while trying to order lunch at a diner; Claire and Cam have different theories on how to discipline kids; Luke accepts an award under false pretenses; Phil has a hard time firing Mitchell from his temporary job at the real estate agency; the entire family participates in Alex's living art display of Norman Rockwell's Thanksgiving painting, entitled "Freedom from want".
24	72		Baby on Board	It's been an up-and-down emotional roller coaster for Mitch and Cam in their quest to adopt another child. Their latest ride has them bringing Gloria in tow as a translator, leaving Jay and Manny to look after Lily, who has a big dance recital coming up. Meanwhile Claire and Phil have a proud parenting moment when they send Alex off to her first prom, but then that is quickly marred with Haley's shocking news of her future plans.

02	74		Schooled	Phil and Claire drops Haley off at college, which is a difficult moment for any parent, but it's made worse when they manage to really embarrass Haley. Meanwhile, Manny forces Jay and Gloria to take a baby class. Mitch and Cam drop Lily off for the first day of kindergarten, but when she gets into a tussle with another little boy, they end up having a meeting with the boy's confrontational lesbian parents.
03	75		Snip	Phil and Claire sets a five-year plan. Phil is going in for a vasectomy. Meanwhile, Jay and Gloria disagree about whether or not to find out the sex of the baby. Gloria is in denial about needing maternity clothes. Now that Lily's in kindergarten, Mitchell tries to gently steer Cam towards a part-time job to occupy all his extra time.
04	76		The Butler's Escape	Luke wants to quit magic and Phil just can't seem to accept it. Meanwhile, one of Gloria's new pregnancy symptoms is snoring and she's keeping the whole house awake, forcing Jay to take desperate measures; and Mitch and Cam's household dynamic is put to the test when they decide to swap duties - Mitch staying at home with Lily while Cam goes off to work at his new job as the music teacher at Luke and Manny's school.
05	77		Open House of Horrors	Claire has overdone it in Halloweens past and the neighbors definitely don't share her enthusiasm, so this year she's being forced to tone it down and keep it "kid-friendly," and Phil has an idea to hold an open house on Halloween night. Meanwhile, Mitch and Cam host a costume party while contending with Lily wondering who her real mom is, and Gloria's pregnancy hormones are on overdrive, making her even more hotheaded than usual.
06	78		Yard Sale	Jay and Gloria hold a yard sale to help Manny and Luke with their school's charity fundraiser, and the entire family pitches in: Phil feels pressured to both sell and buy something, Mitch and Cam help Claire assess Alex's new 'boy friend,' and Manny finds an old trunk that hides a secret Gloria wants to see remain a secret.
07	79		Arrested	Phil and Claire get the dreaded late night call that Haley has been arrested for under-aged drinking, so they bring Mitchell, the family lawyer, in tow to the police station. Cameron stays back to watch over Alex and Luke, but they get into some crazy mishaps under his care. Meanwhile, Jay gets out of baby shopping with Gloria, but ends up having to deal with a surprise visit from Dede, and tries to scoot her out before Gloria gets home to prevent Dede from seeing that she's pregnant and to avoid the potential blow back.
08	80		Mistery Date	When Claire takes Manny and Luke along to Alex's academic decathlon for the weekend, Phil attempts to throw together a boys' night at the house, inviting a fellow Bulldog alum he just met—but their wires are definitely crossed. 09	81		When a Tree Falls	Against his wishes, Mitchell is dragged into helping Cam save a tree from being cut down in the park. Phil and Jay battle it out in the ring at an Olympic-themed birthday party for Luke and Manny's friend. Claire takes an absentminded Gloria on a shopping trip, but things get a little out of hand. Haley begins her community service, while Alex's plan to get revenge on her sister goes awry.
10	82		Diamond in the Rough	Manny and Luke's little league team unexpectedly makes it into a playoff game, so Claire and Cam scramble to find a location and decide to do a makeover on a rundown field. Inspired, Claire and Cam want to try their hand at flipping a house while they're at it, and Phil and Mitchell fight over who will be the bad guy to tell them no. Meanwhile, Gloria tries a bonding technique by using a microphone to sing to the baby in utero, which definitely incites a reaction from Jay.
11	83		New Year's Eve	Jay planned for the whole family to celebrate New Year's together at this great hotel in Palm Springs. However, when the hotel turns out to be less than stellar, everyone starts to branch off to do their own thing, leaving Jay dejected, that is until he runs into Billy Dee Williams. Meanwhile back at home, Haley and Alex watch over the kids, which proves to be quite a challenge.
12	84		Party Crasher	With the baby coming soon, Jay and Gloria go to great lengths to throw Manny an extra special surprise party for his 14th birthday—and there are plenty of surprises to go around. Meanwhile, Phil and Claire deal with a new much older guy that Haley has started hanging out with, and Cam becomes jealous of the special bond Lily seems to have with Mitch.
13	85		Fulgencio	Gloria's mom, Pilar, and sister Sonia have made the voyage from Colombia, and they come bearing traditions, baby names and a whole lot of family baggage. Meanwhile, no one seems to have confidence that Phil will be able to help with the kids' problems, but there just might be a method to his madness. And Lily has picked up some bad habits, so Mitchell and Cameron try their hardest to mind their Ps and Qs to set a good example for her.
14	86		A Slight at the Opera	Cam is putting on the school production of "Phantom of the Opera", but when their star falls ill, Manny pulls all the stops to land the lead - even if that means going against Luke. Meanwhile, Jay teaches Phil to golf and they wind up in a golf-off with Pepper and Mitch; Gloria takes Alex along on errands, which include a visit to a psychic; and Claire's adventures in babysitting Joe and Lily become a comedy of errors.
15	87		Heart Broken	Phil and Claire's Valentine's plans land Claire in the emergency room. Jay and Gloria try to be intimate for the first time after the baby, and Mitchell has a wild Valentine's night after drinking and blacking out at his party.

21	93		Career Day	Phil's attempts to woo Luke and Manny's class on Career Day get interesting with the arrival of rival real estate mogul Gil Thorpe, who soon sets his sights on helping out Claire. Cam and Mitch enlist the help of Haley to teach Lily a lesson about the tooth fairy. Jay sits down to tackle a lifelong dream.
22	94		My Hero	The entire family is invited to the local roller rink for a fundraiser by Mitchell's ex-boyfriend Teddy. Cameron struggles to deal with Teddy's close relations with the family. Phil teaching Gloria to roller skate leads to disastrous and hilarious results. Haley and Alex exchange advice while spending time with a couple of boys. Jay and Claire are at ends over his offer to work for him and gradually take over the closet business. All the while, Luke and Manny are dealing with their own problems to complete their "My Hero" essay on a family member.
23	95		Games People Play	Phil gets a brand new RV with high hopes of going on a fun family road trip, and Claire decides to let him learn the hard way why this will likely be a terrible idea. Meanwhile, Manny has misplaced his backpack and Jay and Gloria go with him on a hunt for it, breaking into Claire's house and then into Mitchell's house -- where they do some over-the-top snooping; and Lily's gymnastics meet brings out an unrivaled competitive spirit in Mitch and Cam.
24	96		Goodnight Gracie	Everyone flies down to Florida to be with Phil after his mom's passing. Claire helps Phil with Gracie's last wish for Frank, and the kids reflect on the gifts grandma left for them. Gloria has to contend with an outstanding arrest warrant in Florida, Cam finds himself fitting right into an elderly women's group at Frank's retirement community, and Jay runs into a pivotal person from his past.

Elsewhere, Alex babysits Lily; and Haley spends the night with Manny and Joe.
06	102		The Help	When Gloria hires a too-good-to-be-true male nanny, Jay and Manny are pretty much dead set against it. Frank is in town and feeling a bit lonely recently, so Phil and Jay take him out to help get his groove back. And Mitch and Cam commission Pepper to plan their dream wedding, but Pepper might be dreaming a little too big.
07	103		A Fair to Remember	The whole family, except for Haley, who has an awkward first encounter with Andy, heads to the school fair where everyone gets something to do: Phil and Claire celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary, Gloria signs Jay up to be a fair cop, Manny participates in the cake-baking competition, Alex and Luke fight for the same girl and Cam worries about his work as a football coach.
08	104		ClosetCon '13	With some urging from Claire, Jay begrudgingly agrees to return to ClosetCon this year, and things get interesting when Jay is reunited with some old colleagues. Cam takes Mitch and Lily to the Tucker family farm for the first time and is excited to fold them into country life, that is until Grams pays an unexpected visit. And back at home, Phil, Gloria and the kids get into some mischief involving Jay's very delicate Apollo 13 spacecraft model.
09	105		The Big Game	With a big football game coming up and a record to break, Cam is intensely focused and showing no mercy even when the opposing team is playing with an unexpected disadvantage. Elsewhere, Claire is determined to prove to the staff that she is more than just the boss' daughter, and Phil tries to teach his kids a lesson about optimism, but the universe just isn't cooperating.
10	106		The Old Man & the Tree	Jay takes Manny out to cut down their own Christmas tree, but things get a little out of hand. Gloria is on edge with her mom in town, not aided in the least by her immediate close-knit bond with Claire. Cameron takes Lily to a charity event where they experience the true meaning of Christmas; Haley and Alex get jobs as Elf and Mrs. Claus at the mall, but run into trouble when Santa takes a break on the job; and Phil attempts to meet his goal of traveling the length of home to Canada on a stairmaster, while Luke does everything he can to keep his dad out of the basement.
11	107		And One to Grow On	Phil tricks Luke into taking a dance class, but the joke is on him when the white lie indirectly lands him in the slammer. Meanwhile, Jay and Gloria throw a birthday party for Manny and Joe but are worried that Manny might be hitting on girls who are way out of his league. And Mitch and Cam are having more problems with planning their wedding when they get a rude awakening in the cutthroat world of booking a wedding venue.
12	108		Under Pressure	The high school open house puts the parents in a bit of a time warp when Claire finds herself stressed out by all the pressure, Gloria encounters a "mean girl" mom and Jay teaches Phil how to play a little hookie. Elsewhere, Mitchell gets defensive when he encounters his judgmental, environmentalist neighbor and Alex goes to see a therapist.
13	109		Three Dinners	Phil and Claire take Haley out to dinner to discuss her future, but Haley manages to turn the tables. Elsewhere, Jay's friend Shorty and wife Darlene are back visiting, and they have some news that doesn't sit well with Jay. And, Mitch and Cam decide to have a nice, romantic dinner date where they don't talk about the wedding or about Lily, which then leads to a lot of awkward silences.
14	110		iSpy	Claire and Phil decide to spy on Luke and Manny as they're hanging out with one of their more questionable friends. Meanwhile, Gloria is furious with Jay because she thinks he had a dream about another woman and Cam secretly uses Mitch as a scapegoat to get out of attending a party, while Haley tries to keep her photography exhibit a secret from her family.
15	111		The Feud	Phil is upset to have lost his elected office of social chair to his nemesis Gil Thorpe, so when he finds out Luke is competing against Gil's kid in a wrestling match (and Jay finds out his nemesis is Gil's father), they make it their own personal battle. Gloria accompanies Manny on his school field trip, but runs into trouble with the other moms. Claire has a meeting with an important client, which occurs after she catches Lice from Lily. Cam tries to avoid Lily himself, while Mitch deals with his sister at the meeting. Alex and Haley hide from a possum in the basement.
16	112		Spring-a-Ding-Fling	Cameron is in charge of the school's big spring dance, but when a popular teacher returns from sabbatical, a bit of not-so-friendly competition blooms. And with Claire on chaperone duty at the dance, Phil gets Haley to accompany him to his annual realtor's banquet and is looking forward to impressing his little girl. Elsewhere, Mitch starts a new job and can't seem to get a good read on the new boss or the work environment. Jay and Gloria babysit Lily and an accident with Gloria's purse ignites a case of whodunit and it's Lily's word against baby Joe's.
17	113		Other People's Children	It's male-bonding day when Jay takes Luke into the garage to show him the way around tools and impart some manly wisdom, and Gloria goes with Claire and Lily to shop for Lily's flower girl dress. Elsewhere, Mitch, Cam, Alex and Manny go for a cultured day at the museum but it eventually becomes survival of the smartest, and Phil enthusiastically offers to help Andy with his anniversary gift to his girlfriend, which is an elaborate video expression of his love.
18	114		Las Vegas	The adults are Vegas-bound when Jay hooks them up with Excelsior Level hotel accommodations courtesy of one of his big clients, but after learning there's an even higher level, Jay becomes obsessed with upgrading. Meanwhile, everyone's sneaking around when Claire secretly hits the tables to win back money she lost years ago, Phil goes underground auditioning for a secret society of magicians, Cam ducks out of a spa day with Mitch to join their friend's bachelor party shenanigans, and Gloria is determined to hide a female version of dog butler Barkley from Jay.
19	115		A Hard Jay's Night	Mitchell is upset by the wedding-cake topper that Cam's father whittled out of soap. Phil tries to help Gloria sell her old apartment. Claire feels backstabbed by Jay, who won't acknowledge all she's done for the company while he's been out. Luke plans to sneak out to a party with Manny, but gets an unexpected surprise upon his arrival and all this comes to a head at the weekly Jay's Night.
20	116		Australia	The entire family go to Australia when Phil hopes to fulfill his mother's wish to visit the country where he was conceived, but the locals aren't quite ready to welcome him as a native son. Meanwhile, Jay and Claire find it hard to leave work at home and Mitchell and Cameron run into an old acquaintance whom they don't really like but is now a well-known celebrity in Australia.
21	117		Sleeper	Phil fails at his one task to stay home and wait for the repairman, forcing him to tell an elaborate lie to hide the truth from Claire, but the stress is more than he can physically handle. Meanwhile, Gloria is obsessing over the family portrait she is responsible for organizing this year. Claire accuses Cam of being too snobby to use her girls' hand-me-downs and Jay secretly enters Stella in a dog show.
22	118		Message Received	Jay, Gloria and Manny challenge each other to step outside their comfort zone and try something new. Mitch and Cam's wedding is getting too big and costly so they resort to selling a couple of their prized possessions, and Haley, Alex and Luke play a joke on Phil and Claire.
23	119		The Wedding (Part 1)	Mitch and Cam's long-awaited wedding is finally here and nothing can ruin it, until nothing turns into a whole lot of somethings and puts wedding planner extraordinaire Pepper Saltzman to the test. Meanwhile, Jay and Gloria host the Tuckers, Phil squeezes in an eye procedure before the festivities and Claire embraces her role as "best woman".
24	120		The Wedding (Part 2)	In the conclusion of the wedding extravaganza, Pepper orchestrates a change of wedding venues, while Jay and Gloria try to mend the broken relationship between Merle and Barb. Meanwhile, Phil tries to incorporate a magic trick into his new role in the wedding, Luke and Manny act like an old married couple, much to Alex's delight, and Haley contemplates her true feelings for Andy.

02	122		Do Not Push	It's Jay and Gloria's anniversary and they must decide between a sentimental and an expensive gift. The Dunphys head to Caltech for Alex's college tour and while Claire is busy convincing her to choose this school and stay close to home, Phil, Luke and Haley branch off to participate in a psyche experiment. Mitchell and Cameron are taking a new family portrait with Lily to replace the old one above their mantel, but Lily gives some serious face.
03	123		The Cold	Phil is putting together Mitch and Cam's wedding video for a special family screening, but when the footage reveals that he is responsible for a horrible cold that has plagued the family, he must do some creative editing. Jay and Gloria have different ways of helping Manny cope with the stresses of high school football, while coach Cam struggles between whether or not to bench him. And, Mitchell gets strangely competitive with Lily's new friend, Sydney, who is clearly a genius.
04	124		Marco Polo	The Dunphys temporarily move into a cramped hotel room while their house is getting treated for mold, and Phil sees this as an opportunity to spend some quality time together, but Claire and the kids are less than enthused. Gloria becomes over protective when Manny starts dating an older, popular girl, and Cameron is under a lot of pressure to maintain his team's winning streak but when he realizes Mitchell may be a jinx, emotions run high.
05	125		Won't You Be Our Neighbor	Phil is selling the house next door and he and Claire are excited by the prospect of having wonderful new neighbors, but that quickly turns into panic when a loud and obnoxious couple come to look at the house. Jay forbids Manny to see his new girlfriend when he realizes she's the granddaughter of his biggest business rival, leading to a clash of the closet titans. Elsewhere, Mitch and Cam are determined to switch Lily out of Mrs. Plank's class since she is known to rule with an iron fist - not to mention she scares them too.
06	126		Halloween 3: AwesomeLand	Even though Halloween is Claire's holiday, she allows Phil to take over this year, so instead of her usual fright-fest theme, he decides to turn the house into "AwesomeLand". Gloria picks out Princess Fiona and Shrek costumes for her and Jay, but Jay decides he wants to be Prince Charming complete with a full head of gorgeous hair, and with the hair comes a new sense of confidence. Elsewhere, Cameron gets overwhelmed by the day's activities and Mitchell has closing arguments for a huge case.
07	127		Queer Eyes, Full Hearts	Phil and Claire don’t know if they should be happy or concerned that Haley and Andy are spending a lot of time together, however, they soon find things are not what they appear. Gloria is pushing Manny to learn Spanish instead of French so she goes ahead and hires a Spanish tutor, Diego, who also happens to be very handsome, much to Manny and Jay's chagrin. Meanwhile, Mitch and Cam meet a popular news reporter at a school function and one of them peaks her journalistic interest.
08	128		Three Turkeys	Phil is cooking Thanksgiving dinner this year with Luke as his sous chef. Claire has no confidence in them and prepares a secret turkey of her own as backup. Meanwhile, Jay and Gloria had plans to spend the holiday away but when the trip gets canceled last minute, they decide not to tell anyone. This quickly becomes the worst idea when the family dinner gets suddenly moved to their house and they try to cover up their tracks. Mitch is tired of always being the bad cop so when Lily refuses to wear a nice dress to dinner, he forces Cameron to deal with it who as a result comes up with a very unconventional approach.
09	129		Strangers in the Night	When Alex tells Phil and Claire she has a boyfriend, they worry the pressure they have put on her caused her to make up an imaginary boyfriend. Jay and Gloria both have parties that they are dragging the other to and Jay has a clever plan to get himself out of it, but Manny just might spoil everything. Mitchell and Cameron just got a beautiful white couch delivered but when Mitch is stuck helping out Brenda, a distressed co-worker, and allows her to stay.
10	130		Haley's 21st Birthday	It's Haley's 21st birthday and the adults take her to a bar to celebrate. Claire wants Haley to start seeing her as a friend rather than her uptight mom, Mitch and Cam make the sad realization that they may not be as cool as they thought, and Jay and Phil's quick pit stop to pick up Haley's gift, a new car, becomes a disaster. Meanwhile, back at home, Alex, Luke, and Manny babysit Lily, who wants to know where babies come from.
11	131		The Day We Almost Died	While driving out to get breakfast, the Dunphys, including Manny, have a near death experience causing everyone to reevaluate their lives. Claire resolves to be more fun and less uptight, Haley and Alex agree not to fight anymore, Manny refuses to ever ride in a car again, Luke wants to check off his bucket list, Phil decides to be a take action type of guy, and the rest of the family has to bear the brunt of all the new attitudes.
12	132		The Big Guns	Claire is furious about their neighbors Ronnie and Amber's eye-sore of a boat on their front lawn and it soon becomes an all-out war when Phil calls in "the big guns" as back up: his dad Frank and all his retired friends to give them a taste of their own medicine. Elsewhere, Jay is trying to potty train Joe but Gloria does not think he's ready yet, and Cam secretly takes Lily to clown school behind Mitchell's back.
13	133		Rash Decisions	Phil is starting to feel the teenage cold shoulder from Luke, and with Andy hanging around a lot recently as his apprentice, he easily steps in as his new right hand man. Meanwhile, Gloria and the doctors suspect that Joe might be allergic to Stella which leaves Jay in a very tough predicament, and Mitchell is doing some freelance legal work at Jay's closet company and working with Claire becomes a very enlightening experience for the both of them.
14	134		Valentine's Day 4: Twisted Sister	It's Valentine's Day again, so Phil and Claire decide to reprise their roles of Clive Bixby and Julianna, but Claire suspects Phil may be more into Juliana than her. Jay goes from feeling disappointed to scared when Gloria's visiting sister Sonia becomes a larger deterrence for a romantic evening with Gloria than he thought. Elsewhere, Mitchell and Cameron get themselves in a very precarious situation with their good friend Anders.
15	135		Fight or Flight	After a long reunion weekend with Phil's old cheer buddies, Claire jumps at the chance to snag the only first class seat left on the return flight home leaving Phil in coach and both have completely opposite experiences. Meanwhile, Gloria forces Jay to teach Manny how to defend himself against a bully who attends cooking classes with him, and Mitchell, Cameron, Pepper, and their friends organize a belated baby shower for Sal.
16	136		Connection Lost	Claire's computer becomes the hub of all the family's activities when she gets stuck at the airport and is desperate to reach Haley after a big fight. After FaceTiming with Phil and the rest of the family to help track her down, Claire quickly turns to online snooping which inevitably becomes disturbing real quick and everyone gets sucked into the online drama.
17	137		Closet? You'll Love It!	Jay and Claire scramble to shoot a Pritchett Closets commercial in response to their competitor's new and catchy ad, but there might be some creative differences between father and daughter. A peeping-Tom in the neighborhood keeps using a drone to spy on Gloria sun-bathing so Phil, Luke and Manny make it their mission to take it down. Elsewhere, a tone deaf Lily prepares to perform in her school talent show and Cameron is more worried about it than she is, and Haley's feelings for Andy become even more complicated when he gets rushed to the hospital with appendicitis.
