He Said, She Shed[1] is the eleventh episode and mid-season premiere from Season 9 of Modern Family, it has aired on January 3, 2018.

Plot Summary

Claire's request to build a "She Shed" in their backyard is denied by the homeowners association and only Luke and Phil know the real reason why. Meanwhile Pameron lets Cam in on a family secret that forces him to visit Mitch's therapist to work through this new information.

Episode Description

Phil and Luke learn that the homeowners association refuses to let Claire build a shed in the garden. But little does she knows is that they actually are the true responsible of that as the association no longers send letters but rather mails them regarding their decisions. The reason is that Phil and Luke wanted a battling cage in the garden.

Joe practices golf for the first time but both Jay and Gloria pressure him and Manny is on the other side benched as well for his childish antics.

And, Mitchell learns from Pam a familial secret that forces Cam to see his therapist. Mitchell is very shocked when he sees that his therapist treats Cam better than him.
