John Cygan (April 27, 1954 – May 13, 2017) Was an American actor, Voice actor, and comedian
Best known from his Live-action work (X-Files, The Commish, NYPD Blue, and Frasier) and his voice work (Metal Gear Solid, Regular Show, Toy Story 3, and Star Wars). In Modern Family he played Admission Dean in the Season 4 episode ("The Future Dunphys")

Cygan died at his home in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles on May 13, 2017 at the age of 63 from cancer. He is survived by his wife and two children, Annie and Jack.
