Lily the Pig was Cameron Tucker's childhood pet and, in his own words, his "Aunt Lily" and his best friend. She was a Brunswick King Sow.
Biography[]
Lily was Cam's pet pig and his childhood best friend, even though he ate her mother. She passed away before the beginning of the series, specifically 25 years before the 8th season.
Cam named Lily after her while Mitchell thought they were naming their daughter after Cam's actual aunt. He found out the truth long after they had named their daughter.
Cam kept her ashes in an urn in his and Mitch's garage. When Mitch began exercising in the garage, on the first day, he accidentally knocked over the urn from its shelf in front of a fan, blowing all the ashes into Mitch's face.
Cam discovered Lily's urn was empty and when Mitch didn't tell the truth, he made up a festival called the "Pig Moon" to bury her ashes and force Mitch to come clean.
Desperate, Mitch tried to replace Lily's ashes with those of his late neighbour, Morris Pastornack's, but he got caught by Cam, who was hiding behind the shelf. This led to an argument between them.
Cam's daughter, Lily, asked Cam if they could bury a finger painting she had once made of Lily the Pig, along with the ashes. However, Cam had accidentally mistook it for a tissue and used it to wipe his face, ruining it. In order to keep the truth from Lily and Mitch, he tried to recreate the painting but failed.
He then asked Haley to recreate the painting in exchange for tickets to a Gloria Estefan show. Haley's version was much more similar to the original but Lily still realised the truth when she saw pink paint on Haley's fingers.
