Lucas Williams was the father of DeDe Pritchett and the ex-father-in-law of Jay Pritchett, as well as the maternal grandfather of Claire Dunphy and Mitchell Pritchett, the great-grandfather of Haley, Alex, Luke and Lily, and the great-great-grandfather of Poppy and George. In "Dance Dance Revelation", it was mentioned that he did not like Jay. Phil also revealed that his son Luke was named after him. Phil also stated that he was a “sweetheart.” Jay responded saying “after the stroke.”
