Skylar was a girl who befriended Alex Dunphy in "Snip".
Claire suspected that Skylar started being a bad influence for Alex, as she was now dressing up gothic clothes just like Skylar. Later, when Claire came home to change her shirt, she heard a noise and went upstairs to find Skylar just about to shave the back of Alex's neck with a razor. Claire then asked Alex why she was not at school and Alex responded that they cut last period because they were shaving the backs of their necks because she thought that it was something cool. Although Alex first thought that her mother would freak out, Claire stupidly grabbed the razor and encouraged them to do it. But during her stupidity, she had the razor on and accidentally cut off a significant portion of Skylar's hair, causing Alex to freak out and Skylar to be furious, especially since she had her sister's wedding that coming Saturday. Claire apologized, but Skylar angrily told them both to stay away from her before leaving. Alex angrily accused her mother of ruining her life and chased after Skylar, leaving Claire alone with the razor and cut hair feeling guilty. However, Alex later revealed that she thought Skylar was awful and that Claire actually had done her a huge favor.
Skylar was also the one who slow clapped at the end of Cameron’s lesson in "The Butler’s Escape".
