Steven and Stefan were Mitchell Pritchett and Cameron Tucker's gay friends. They were life partners and they had a son, Rocco. They thought that Mitch and Cam were jealous of them; on a side note: Phil Dunphy was their realtor. After seeing the same house five times, they finally bought it thinking that they were going to lose it to a couple named Luke and Leon after overhearing Phil talk about them. In actuality, Phil was talking about his son Luke and Luke's friend, Leon.
