Tyler Gerald "Ty" Burrell is an American actor.
Biography
Tyler Gerald "Ty" Burrell is an American actor, he was born on August 22nd 1967 in Grants Pass, Oregon, where his family owned a business. He is the son of Sheri (Hauck), a teacher, and Gary Burrell, a therapist, and is primarily of English and German ancestry. He earned a BA from Southern Oregon University and attended The University of Oregon while working as a bartender; he finished his education at Penn State where he got an MFA. Burrell is known for his roles on the films The Incredible Hulk, Dawn of the Dead, the TV series Out of Practice and Back to You. He has won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2011 and 2014 and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for 2013 for playing his character on Modern Family.
